Older Growing with Spunk & Spirit
As we enter middle age and beyond, concerns about burnout, chronic illness, cancer, or dementia often arise. From a yogic perspective, the key to experiencing the highest quality of life is embracing yoga as a life-long devoted practice with routines that promote body, mind and spiritual health.
In this workshop, you’ll discover how the principles and practices of yoga and brain-science can help you age gracefully, cultivating a fulfilling life and a meaningful approach to dissolution and death.
You’ll learn how to:
* avoid the main causes of premature aging
* keep your mind calm about life and death
* develop discipline for life-long wellness
* create a healthy relationship to your aging
Through asana, kirtan, meditation, pranayama, philosophical insight and discussion, this class offers practical tools and spiritual wisdom to help you develop positive beliefs, productive behaviors, and lasting peace.
